Terms and Conditions

Key Information:
* All prices include P+P within UK for total purchases over £15.00
* Purchase under £15.00 have a £2.00 postage and packing charge
* All orders sent out via 2nd Class Royal Mail. We aim to ship within two working days of orders being placed - but occasionally it may be three. This is due to the business closing down and there now being other commitments. In return,  you get our super-low sale prices.   All prices include p+p  within the UK - customers in other EU countries will need to pay a surcharge.
* If you change your mind, you have 14 days after the receipt of your goods in which you can send it back and will receive a full refund, as long as it is in the original packaging, in perfect condition (ie. resellable as brand new).

Slingtastic Online Terms and Conditions
Slingtastic sells baby and toddler carriers, accessories and gifts for babies.
All slings and equipment come with full instructions which must be read and adhered to. We check goods despatched as far as is possible, but please inspect your goods on arrival to ensure that they are in good useable condition.
Postage and Packing
All prices include P+P within UK for total purchases over £15.00
* Purchases to be delivered in the UK under £15.00 have a £2.00 postage and packing charge
* All orders sent out via 2nd Class Royal Mail within 2 working days of order (usually sooner)
All orders being sent outside the UK, but still in the EU will cost £8.50 in postage and packing.
We cannot post items to countries outside the EU.
If you require an item urgently, or by guaranteed delivery, please contact Slingtastic as soon as possible and we will try and accommodate this. Please be aware that this may incur additional postage costs, which would be discussed when you get in touch.
If you would like us to use an alternative courier/delivery system, (for example if Royal Mail has ongoing industrial action) please get in touch and we will try to arrange an alternative.
Packaging will be recycled or recyclable wherever possible.

Slingtastic only delivers to countries in the EU. If you order from outside the EU, your payment will be refunded as soon as we are able so.
As you know, very occasionally items do get lost in the post. If you think this has happened, please contact us immediately and we will help you to try and locate the parcel. Please be aware that Royal Mail consider parcels in the UK to be missing after 15 days, and 25 days out of the UK, and we will need to work with this guidance if we need to send out a replacement item.
Slingtastic regrets that it is unable to send Beco products to countries outside the UK due to a restriction from the manufacturers.

Slingtastic does not have access to any of your card details as this is securely processed by Shopify and Paypal or Stripe. (See privacy statement below).
If you would prefer to pay by cheque or bank transfer, please send an e-mail order to ensure that the items that you wish to buy are held for you. We will e-mail you an invoice with payment details.
Stock Availability and Communication.
We will send you a confirmation e-mail as soon as we process your order, giving a clear indication of the despatch date.
On a few occasions we may need to get your item sent directly to you from our distributor or the manufacturer. If this is the case, we will contact you to let you know and inform you of the delivery times.
All orders are subject to availability.
Cancellations/Returns and Exchanges
Slingtastic is a UK company and therefore covered by UK law.
Cancellations Should you decide to cancel your order after payment has been made:
~ If the order has been dispatched it is considered a return (see below for details).
~ If we have not dispatched it you will receive a full refund .
Returns and Refunds If you change your mind about your online purchase, let us know as soon as possible so that we can give you further information ab. out returning them to us. You will need to return the unused goods to us with the original invoice within 14 days of placing your order or within 7 days of receiving it (whichever is greater), and we will offer you an exchange or a refund (minus the postage costs) if the goods have been returned with all the packaging and instructions in saleable condition as new.
If you decide to return an item we strongly recommend that you repackage it carefully as soon as you realise this, as this prevents accidental damage and wear which may make it non-returnable. It is up to our discretion to decide whether an item displays signs of wear and tear.
There is no automatic right to a refund or exchange for items bought in person, in store, even when unused.
Unfortunately we are not able to refund postage costs when you have changed your mind, Exchanges may incur an additional postage cost according to the weight of the items sent.
Please note:
This does not affect your legal rights, including your right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or misdescribed. In these cases we will of course refund all monies paid, including postage costs.
Support - before and after sales
Slingtastic was set up to help parents choose the carrier that is right for them. This is still a core value of the business so we welcome your e-mails and telephone calls to discuss your needs and any issues both before and after buying a carrier. We will endeavour to answer all queries, but please be aware that we may not always be able to answer calls immediately, and will usually reply only during normal business hours, Mon - Sat, 9.30 - 5.
Data Protection and Privacy
When you buy from us, the following details only will be given to Slingtastic by Paypal and Shopify.
Your name
Your postal address
Your e-mail
Your telephone number and any comments that you add on the order page at the time of paying (these two things are not compulsory for payments to be made)
These details will all be held for at least 12mths in case of further queries or in case of any kind of recall. The only time that they will be passed on is if an item that you order needs to be shipped to you directly from our distributors, and you will be informed of this immediately. In all other cases, your details will not be shared with anyone.
We may use your e-mail address to keep you up to date with special offers. If you would like to be taken off this list, please e-mail us to let us know and we will remove it immediately.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers are for us in the shop only, but if you receive one and are unable to get here, please call and we will try and work with you if possible.
⦁ Vouchers are valid for 2 years from date of issue
⦁ Vouchers are not exchangeable in full or part for cash
⦁ Any remaining credit on a voucher (once part of the value has been redeemed) will be written on the card by the staff member in the shop, and signed and dated by that member of staff.
•      Vouchers may be used towards the cost of a workshop.
Website Payments
All website payments are via PayPal or Stripe through Shopify channels - you do not need a special account with any of these services to use these as they will safely manage payments from all the main debit and credit card companies. This is a safe way for us and our customers to make payments.
