Wraps

A wrap is a long piece of fabric that you use to create a safe and comfortable space for your child to be carried close to you. This means that the weight you carry is well distributed around your torso, with no buckles and fewer pressure points than with some other carriers.

There are 2 types of wraps - woven and stretchy.

Stretchy wraps are most popular with new parents and new sling users as they can be tied once and then the baby can be put in and out throughout the day without the need to retie the wrap each time.

Woven Wraps can also be used from newborn, but the same wrap is often used right through into the toddler years. They are woven in beautiful design, usually with a diagonal weave especially for the purpose of babywearing, making them very comfortable to use. They take a little more learning than a stretchy wrap, and the fabric will need to be retied to some degree every time he or she goes in or out.
